Leading Edge Aviation was pleased to have Lan & Denice Turner host a book release party at the Logan-Cache Airport. Denice completed an MA in English at Utah State University and received her PhD from University of Nevada, Reno. Denice commuted in a single-engine plane from Logan to Reno weekly to receive her degree.
Lan & Denice are active members in the Logan-Cache Airport community. Both have played strong roles in promoting aviation. Denice's book, Writing the Heavenly Frontier: Metaphor, Geography, and Flight Autobiography in America has been published and is currently for sale. To read an excerpt from the book, click here.
